Thank you for your patience as M1/Unifor and Corus have been trying to secure
bargaining dates amid the pandemic. We can report bargaining meetings have been secured for early November. As with most things currently, collective bargaining will also need to adapt in terms of the process which will now include pandemic protocols. M1/Unifor and the company are exploring the idea of a rollover agreement for the EBU (Eastern Bargaining Unit) that will still include increases while ironing out a couple of issues but not a full overhaul of the collective agreement.
We will provide updates to all EBU members as we move forward in the process - towards an EBU membership vote.
